Preparing for College

2017_Kirby Graduates_Feature

Lis Bensley, Kirby’s College Counselor, helps every student attend the college or university that is right for them. Many factors go into the college decision, and Lis works with every high school student, side-by-side and step-by-step, to help them find the right fit. She also offers parents guidance, providing framework for productive conversations with their students about this important milestone and decision factors.

From writing essays to applying for financial aid, from creating CVs to advising on educational and extracurricular activities appropriate to their college dreams, Lis supports our students in creating a college opportunity that works for them and their families.
