Kirby student awarded at ISEF

Michelle Nazareth, a Kirby 10th grader, received 4th Place in the Biochemistry Category at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), the world’s largest international high school science competition.  ISEF is the largest and most prestigious science fair in the U.S. and worldwide with 1842 participants this year from over 80 countries.  Michelle has also been selected to publish a paper on her ‘RNA Regulation: Identifying and Preventing AMP Depurination in Early Life RNA Polymerization’ project in the International Journal of High School Research.
