U.S. National Record Holder

Shell Eisenberg, Santa Cruz native and Kirby School Class of 2009, broke the U.S. Women’s National Record in May 2018, freediving to a depth of 85m.

For perspective, she held her breath underwater while swimming the length of the Washington Monument.

Shelby is now a resident of Kona, Hawaii, where she is a diving instructor. Read more about her accomplishment.
