Giving / Ways To Give

At Kirby, exceptional is a way of life.

We welcome support in many forms

For 25 years, Kirby families, grandparents, faculty, alumni and friends have demonstrated their commitment to Kirby through their generosity. There are many ways show yours:

Make an immediate donation
Click here to make a gift to Kirby School on our secure website.

Write a check
Drop off a check in the lobby, payable to Kirby School and with “Annual Giving” in the memo, or mail it to:

Kirby School, 425 Encinal Street, Santa Cruz, CA 95060, ATTN: Sandie Shoemaker

Make a recurring gift
Contribute an amount of your choice on a frequency that works for you. A recurring gift is a way to manage your giving to fit your budget. Follow the donate now button and select “recurring monthly donation.”

Matching gifts
Multiply your gift by taking advantage of your Employer Matching Gift Program.
Some companies even match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses.

Stock
A charitable gift of appreciated stock may provide an opportunity for tax savings while generously supporting Kirby. It is not our position to offer tax or legal advice. Before you make a gift of stock or mutual funds — particularly a significant gift — be sure to talk with your professional financial advisor to determine how such a gift may affect your overall financial plan, and consult your tax advisor for more detailed information about the tax consequences of your gift.

Amazon Smile
If you already purchase from Amazon, try AmazonSmile the next time you shop. A percentage of what you spend can be designated to go to helping Kirby. The AmazonSmile Foundation gives a percentage (0.5%) of your purchase to a charity of your choice–Kirby School. Just be sure to designate Georgiana Bruce Kirby Preparatory School when you shop.

For more information on giving a gift of stock, or for questions or support in making any donation, please contact Sandie Shoemaker at 831.423.0658 x 224.
