Ms. Bonds graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a degree in Social Science. Upon graduating, Ali realized her passion for relationships, people, and community values. She moved to Santa Cruz and served as an intern at the Mount Hermon Conference Center where she enjoyed working alongside others, learning Spanish and developing servant-leadership skills as a supervisor. She also gained knowledge and experience creating friendships through volunteer work at the River Street Shelter and two summer internships with the Portland Rescue Mission. Ali has also taken several graduate-level courses in the realm of Life Coaching through Western Seminary. She has obtained many skills around facilitating the guidance of others towards their personal goals and growth. Currently, as an individual who is passionate about volleyball coaching and teaching as a platform for community-building, mentorship, and the transformation of character, she is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Coaching and Athletic Administration along with her Physical Education Credential through Concordia University Irvine.
