Tuition

For the past 30 years, Kirby School has offered a college preparatory education to students from a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds.

This year 34% of our families received nearly $1.6 million in Tuition Assistance funds to support this founding principle. The average award amount was $26,500 for the 2022-23 school year.

To ensure objectivity, Kirby uses an outside service: Financial Aid for School Tuition (FAST) to evaluate TA applications. Our Tuition Assistance is a needs-based program which means families who qualify are invited to pay a lower tuition amount. Every family pays some amount towards tuition at Kirby.

Tuition Assistance for the 2024-25 School Year

Our FAST application to apply for Tuition Assistance for the 2024-25 school year will open on December 1, 2023. Families must have their Tuition Assistance Application completed by February 16, 2024 for priority consideration. Your student must first be accepted to Kirby before the Tuition Assistance application will be evaluated. After this deadline we offer rolling admissions based on space, and Tuition Assistance is dependent on availability of funds.

As a nonprofit school we rely on every family paying some amount of tuition as we are funded exclusively by tuition and donations. Our minimum annual tuition payment is $5,000 for families who demonstrate the highest level of need for assistance.
