We consider applications year-round through a rolling admissions and offer priority consideration to applications received by February 1, 2019. Priority Applications are reviewed first, and available spaces are offered first, to candidates who submit an application by this date.
We also offer a Tuition Assistance program. If you are interested in applying for Tuition Assistance, we offer a Priority Deadline and Secondary Deadline. Please be aware that Admissions Applications are processed independently from Tuition Assistance Applications. Please visit our Tuition and Affording Kirby page for more information.

Application Form and Parent and Student Statements
Complete the application form, the parent statement and the student statement forms (handwritten by the student) which are in the Application Packet. The packet may be downloaded (click on the link) or you may request one by mail. Once completed, mail, email or fax these forms to Kirby School, along with the $75 application fee.
Send the Academic Records Request form in the application kit (which may be downloaded here and printed at home) to the applicant’s current school. They will send your academic records directly to the Kirby Admissions Office. Documents can be sent via fax or email, or mailed in hard copy. These documents should not be collected by the applicant.
Letters of Recommendation
Send the three recommendation forms also found in the application kit (which may also be downloaded and completed digitally) to the applicant’s current school. These must be completed by your student’s English teacher, Math teacher and principal or counselor and sent directly to the Kirby Admissions Office. These documents should not be collected by the applicant.

Once your Admissions Application is complete (including transcripts and recommendation forms), the Admissions Office will contact you to schedule a student interview and writing assessment. If you’re planning to apply for financial aid, you will need to submit your Admissions Application by the February 1, 2019 and return the supporting documents and complete your interview by March 4, 2019, as well as complete the Financial Aid Application by February 15, 2019.
