Open House
Each open house paints a vivid picture of education at Kirby in two lively hours. After an overview and performances by renowned Kirby choirs, you can tour the school and — perhaps most important — chat informally with faculty in each department.
Prospective students mingle with current students to experience the Kirby culture — collaborative, creative, and caring. Parents mingle to share the inside story — school climate, college prep, the balance of classes and extracurriculars. Faculty can help your family explore ideas, needs, and preferences. You may even meet Sadie, the head of school’s welcoming dog.

Shadow Day
How do students know if Kirby is a good choice? A shadow day offers a pleasant way to find out. Prospective students immerse themselves in a typical school day with students and staff. A student host with similar interests helps each guest engage with the Kirby experience.
How it works:
- Shadows are scheduled on Mondays, Tuesdays, or Wednesdays.
- The school day starts at 8:15am and end at 3:30pm (shadow students check in at 8:10am).
- Student shadows are treated to a hot lunch made fresh in our kitchen by the Kirby chefs.
