Admissions / Applying to Kirby

Kirby considers applications year-round through a rolling admissions process, with priority given to applications received by February 24th for the following year. Students who plan to apply for Financial Aid must have their Admissions Application submitted by the February 24th Priority Application Deadline. Financial Aid Applications are processed independently from Admissions Applications, and must be submitted by the Financial Aid Application Deadline on March 3rd.

Admissions Application Process (U.S. Students)

The admission application has seven (7) components. All components must be received before an application is considered complete. You can use this application kit to print all seven forms with instructions.

Parent and Student Forms

Download the application kit, complete these forms and mail them with the $75 application fee.

Recommendations and Transcripts

Next, the following forms (which are a part of the application kit) should be printed and given or emailed to the applicant’s current school and teachers. After completion, the forms should be signed and mailed directly to the Kirby Admissions Office by the applicant’s school (not collected by the applicant). Provide a stamped and pre-addressed envelope with each request.

What next?

The Admissions Office will contact you to schedule a student interview and a writing assessment (typically after all application materials, including transcripts and recommendations, have been received). If you are planning to apply for Financial Aid you will need to complete a separate Financial Aid Application. Please read through the Tuition and Financial Aid section for instructions.
